Conference Venue
The conference will take place at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences building (17 Sławkowska Street).
The building of the Academy is located in the centre of Kraków’s old city, a two minute walk from the Main Market Square.
The Registration desk will be opened in the hall of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (17 Sławkowska Street).
Participant registration will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 16, 2016 (Monday), and from 8 a.m. May 17, 2016 (Tuesday).

A Meet-and-Greet Party (Monday May 16, 2016) will take place in the Archeological Museum in Kraków (Muzeum Archeologiczne, Senacka 1; see map).
The Banquet (Friday May 20, 2016) will take place in Ojców National Park.



Conference Field Session
On May 20, 2016 there will be a field session at Piekary open-air site and Mamutowa Cave. A visit is also planned to Pieskowa Skała Castle and Ojców National Park. All are driving distance from Kraków.

Technical information for lecture and poster contributors
The Programme will consist of talks selected from the submitted abstracts. There will be no parallel sessions. We propose three kinds of presentations: (1) Plenary talks with fifteen minutes for each presentation and an additional five minutes reserved for questions from the audience. These lectures will present finished or advanced studies. (2) Short communications. These will be up to ten minutes, with seven minutes for presentation and three minutes reserved for questions from the audience. (3) Posters, which will be presented during all days of conferences, and authors will be asked to make two minute oral presentations of their main points or conclusions. Presentations should be prepared in Power Point format. Speakers are kindly asked to deliver their presentations to the technical staff before the session. The presentations may be delivered on CD, DVD, or USB flash memory stick. If you need an overhead projector, slide projector, or other devices please inform organizers before the conference by e-mail. Poster sessions will be available for viewing throughout the conference. Posters should not exceed 90x110 cm format, and should be vertically oriented.

Arrival to Kraków
By train
The City has a convenient direct railway connection with all large cities in Poland; the journey on the InterCity train from Warsaw takes only 2.5 hours.
Apart from local connections, Kraków has direct railway connections with Berlin, Budapest, Bucharest, Hamburg, Kiev, Lviv, Prague, Vienna. All trains stop at the Kraków Główny station.

Bus to airport
Krakow Airport is served by two regular bus lines: 208 and 292, and one night line: 902.
Tickets can be purchased from:
- the bus driver
- the RELAY newsagent's shop – T1 international terminal, mezzanine
- the ticket machine at the bus stop
- additionally, ticket vending machines can be found on 292 line buses
Ticket for any one journey for one person from/to Kraków Balice airport is 4.00 zloty.

Accommodation
Accommodation can be chosen in various hotels located downtown within walking distance from the conference venue. Participants should contact the hotels of their choice directly.
Participants are kindly requested to cover the costs of accommodation individually, in their respective lodging places.
